Free Layout and Formatting
We normally deliver all translations in a format that mirrors the original document as closely as possible, unless the client explicitly indicates that maintaining the original layout is not required.
Text layout, together with all visual elements such as drawings, charts and tables, is provided free of charge. These elements are either recreated or transferred manually from the original file supplied by email, or scanned from documents provided in hard copy.
To ensure the translated document is clear, practical and easy to use, we aim to replicate the original layout as closely as possible. With today’s advanced desktop publishing tools, this is usually straightforward. However, where files require editing in specialist graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign, we reserve the right to extend the delivery time.
